About

akumu.network is one person's infrastructure notebook. It exists because paper notebooks get lost and wikis get abandoned, while a static site you are forced to look at every time you debug DNS tends to stay up to date.

What runs here

A small virtual machine in the Netherlands does most of the work: Caddy for the web, a few long-lived daemons, and cron jobs that mostly behave. The machine is deliberately boring — stable releases, few moving parts, and a healthy suspicion of anything that calls itself a platform.
